Something that I want to discuss about this book is can you really turn a man that has been looked at on as a pig and thats how the whole town views this black man in the Jim Crow south. Is there really a point to this and how will Jefferson benefit from this.
No you really cant turn a man around after the whole town views him in a funny way unless he gives back to the community but, the community will always view him as a pig.
